Town Center Tap House

Have been several times with family , the food is always good and the atmosphere is always great !

When one of my best friends and dinner buddies found out that I had won the Triad Yelper of the Year Award at the Yelpies 2024 Award Ceremony, he invited me to go celebrate at the Town Center Tap House, located in Daleville, Virginia. No better gift than an opportunity to review my first restaurant since being awarded this very significant award. We arrived at the restaurant on Tuesday early evening. It was located in one of the modern red brick buildings, in Town Center, a new vibrant community in Daleville, Virginia. As we were about to enter the door, painted on the glass was the name and logo of the restaurant and under it: "Where Good Friends Go!" Inside I found an elegant yet cozy and very relax atmosphere. The interior design had hardwood floors, dark ceilings, lots of wood details, and large windows all around. It was furnished with a combination of booths and tables and chairs. A very friendly young lady gave us a warm welcome at the Host's station and brought us to one of the booths after asking us our seating preference, and handed us copies of the menu. The menu was bounded very elegantly and very nicely designed with some photos of their main categories that were: Appetizers, Juicy Burgers, and Fresh Garden Salads, among others. We ordered the Egg Rolls as appetizer and the New Burgchetta Burger as the main entrée. I asked them to include bacon on mine and the friendly server graciously complied. As the side item, my friend ordered Onion Rings and I ordered their Waffle Fries. The Egg Rolls arrived and even though they looked a bit overdone, the tasted amazingly delicious, crispy on the outside and moist with juicy pork meat and other ingredients in the inside. The burgers arrived and they were cooked just as ordered and with plenty of quality Onion Rings and Waffle Fries on the side. The smoked Gouda cheese and roasted cherry tomatoes in particular gave them an excellent flavor, as well as the Applewood-smoked bacon that I had them include in mine. Our efficient and friendly server came by at the appropriate times to see how we were doing, see if we need anything else, fill our glasses with iced water, and making us feel at home. She had such a positive attitude that you can see she loved her job, and it showed in her actions. For dessert we each had an Ice Cream Sundae. They were serve in square bowls with whipped cream, chocolate syrup, and three cherries on top. And they tasted mighty fine indeed. I highly recommend this restaurant as a place for family and friends to gather to enjoy a wonderful dining experience in a relaxed and friendly environment with extraordinary customer service.

Trivia Night! Great service, no reservation, seating at any open table. Super Beer selections 40 +. Signature cocktails featuring call names. Grey Goose, Bulleit, for $10.00. Server , Lauren was fun, attentive and did a nice job welcoming us, taking the drink and food orders. Extensive menu. While we had soup and a salad as well as the Soft Pretzel it was delicious. Soup was their homemade chili. Caesar Salad. They have wraps, subs, extensive appetizers and entrees. Lots of burger combinations. Everything was fresh, served hot and unique to the Tap House cuisine. We will be back.

Came on a holiday 4th of July. Excellent service by Sarah! We sat outside with our pup, had wonderful food!
